Our strength as an institution is based in large part on our Authors’ commitment to providing the highest quality training program. Their collaborative effort has resulted in unique teaching and student support systems, which produce unparalleled results. In short, our graduates consistently achieve higher levels of proficiency, in a shorter period of time, than other teaching methods can provide.

Audrey Harvey BVSc(Hons)

Audrey has been a practicing small animal veterinarian for the past 20+ years. She was born in Scotland, and emigrated to Australia with her family when she was a child. Even in those early years, her love of animals was evident in the way she cared for her family's dogs and cats. It was no surprise that after finishing her public schooling, she applied to study veterinary science at the University of Queensland.

After graduating with honors in 1990, she spent the next five years as an employee of a small vet clinic overlooking the beach in Redcliffe, Queensland before buying it herself. She finally sold it in 2002 and accepted a part-time role in order to be able to spend more time with her young family and home school her two children.

Although Audrey is primarily responsible for the course material focusing on dog psychology, health care, nutrition and first aid, she also has a strong background in dog training. Her Australian Cattle Dog "Cody" was the first dog in Australia to gain a masters title in agility (click here to see), and she has successfully earned obedience and agility titles with many of her dogs over the years.

Jerry Sticker

Jerry has an extensive background working with dogs. Growing up, he trained Brittany Spaniels and Labs for field trials and is a long-time friend of and volunteer for the Greyhound Rescue of Austin, Texas. An owner of a rescue Greyhound himself, he is an active advocate in the fight to stop Greyhound racing.

Jerry is a professional dog runner/pet sitter and manages a large client list, which includes the dogs of celebrities Justin Timberlake and Anne Hathaway.

Following the success of his recent novel, “The Dog Runner,” Jerry has recently started a humorous blog written from the dog’s point of view (see website below). Qualified in the selection and training of puppies, he is responsible for authoring "Keys to Becoming a True Professional" as well as some of the tricks and agility training sections of the course.

Kimberly LeMaster - Certified Dog Trainer

Kimberly fell into dog training at the young age of 12, helping to rescue dogs in North Carolina where she grew up. Now, with more than 10 years of experience as a certified dog trainer, Kimberly is a seasoned professional when it comes to identifying and correcting behavioral problems in canines.

The power of working with your dog as a PARTNER… as opposed to using force or domination to achieve your desired relationship is at the core of Kimberly’s training theory. She has extensive experience training service dogs for the disabled and also enjoys offering her time and talents to local nonprofit rescues. Kimberly owns and trains exotic animals as well and is constantly improving and broadening her knowledge in animal behavior.

Also author of The Natural Dog Diet: A nutritional guide to a naturally healthy canine, we are proud to have Kimberly as the author of the Course modules involving training theories and equipment, dog nutrition, basic obedience training, and identifying and correcting behavioral problems. She lives in Wisconsin with her husband, service dog, and two pet dogs.
